Last year I met films of two filmmakers that impressed me: Quentin Tarantino and Wes Anderson. At first glance, they don’t seems to have nothing in common, but strangely coincide in some things. Today I want to talk about both.
Quentin Tarantino and Wes Anderson are american directors, screenwriters, productors and actors. In the same way, they were to make themselves known for making independent film.
Tarantino’s films used non linear storylines, aestheticization violence and macabre humours. Also, his films usually have a shot from inside a car trunk. In contrast, Anderson’s films mix poignancy and dry humor. Moreover, almost every movie contains a shot of one or more characters under water.
Similarly, Anderson make obsessive and comedic use of “rostrum camera” insert shots, fore grounding the minutiae of documents and he has ended his movies with a slow- motion shot. On the contrary, Tarantino’s films will often include one long, unbroken take where a character is followed around some where and he used long close up of a persons face while someone else speaks off-screen.
However, They in each of his films, one or more of the main characters smokes cigarretes. Also, they to accompany in his films they also features zippo lighters.
As curious, they measure like of height 1,85 m. And surprisingly both will present his next project of movie this 2009: Tarantino with “Inglorious Bastards” and Anderson with “The fantastic Mr. Fox”. We will see as themselves plays his letters in this year.
